S04 E012: BONUS Episode- Jamie McIntosh on the Global Crisis and the Church's response to Covid-19

What is REALLY going on around the world with the pandemic and the Church? How are our brothers and sisters being affected, and responding? What are the needs? Is there anything we can do that would even make a difference?

We get to sit down with Compassion Canada Executive Director Jamie Mcintosh to hear more about what the Church is doing right now around the world to respond to a crisis at levels we’ve not seen before. For the first time in a century, we’re seeing an increase in extreme poverty, not a decrease because of the pandemic. Half a billion people are in danger of extreme poverty right now. But we the Church can make a major difference.

For the first time ever, Compassion Canada, World Vision Canada and Food for the Hungry Canada are joining together for a night of worship led by incredible artists like:

  • Hillsong Worship

  • Toby Mac

  • Kirk Franklin

  • for KING & COUNTRY

  • CeCe Winans

  • Michael W. Smith

  • Phil Wickham

  • with special appearances by Bishop T.D. Jakes, Amy Grant, Tori Kelly and Rend Collective

Join us on August 28th at 8:30 p.m. (EST) for Unite to Fight Poverty, a FREE two-hour concert event benefiting vulnerable families in the developing world who are most vulnerable to the aftershocks of COVID-19.

It’s going to be an unforgettable event! Tune in for free online with Compassion Canada: Facebook or YouTube
